Nice job, color is much closer than I though considering battleship grey is usually a blue hue.

Huh? It looks good to me. IMO bronze looks terrible on CG.

About to take these off for the summer rims, but in case anyone was wondering what the steelies look like painted with Dupli-Color Graphite Wheel Coating, here you are. Held up amazingly well even without a clear coat. Paint hardened surprisingly well. Exposed to salt, sand, snow and slush.

I like the look - and I'm not much of a fan of steelies. That's the problem with owning '60's era British sports cars in your youth - chromed wire wheels with knock-offs are "cool" and everything else is a distant second...

Yeah didn't much care for them in sparkle silver with the CG. We need winter rims up here, so I kept them for that purpose. Was going to paint them black like most winter rims, but tried this color and thought, hey, this isn't half bad. Painted the plastic caps too without problem.

Visited a local tint shop today to get my two front windows done to match the rears.

Also had them put some black satin vinyl wrap over the top portion of the headlight housing. The guy called it eyebrows. I guess it kind of does look like that.

FYI: This does NOT cover any functional lighting. There is nothing but a silver piece of plastic there on my XLT. It has LED up there on Lariat trim only.

I recently had the front windows of my truck tinted with a 20% carbon film, and also had the guys at the shop to an "eyelid kit" using satin black vinyl wrap to black. out the inoperative top portion of the headlight housing. Kind of gives it a more aggressive look on the front end, IMO.

Anyway, here are some photos and also a link to a YouTube video I put together for those who want to know more about the installation process. I have been having fun going behind the scenes with the professionals during my numerous truck mods, as I have never done any of this stuff on any vehicles I have had in the past. I hope it is helpful for others who many considering similar things for their Mavericks.

So, do I understand correctly that the MY 24 Cactus Gray color for the Maverick will now be called Fighter Jet Gray like on the Mustang? Told it's the same color?
