I’m on the mailing list to be notified when the new one comes out for 2025 mavs. I have a personal cell and a dedicated work cell. So the dual mount would be great.

Wondering if anyone uses it and what they think of it.

with two phones maybe I can see why you might want it, but with one phone and carplay and android auto is having the phone hanging in front of you needed as much any more? if these things block the large screen in the 2025 i'd be looking for alternatives. looks adjustable though so you'd have the phone up above the screen? seems like it would block view there. 🤔

in my escape, with carplay, my iphone is generally sitting in a cup holder or on the passenger seat if i'm alone. i'm just lazy.

I am also on the list. I mean......the 2022-2024 model of their mounting solution should work, but not be exact due to the two-level recess on the 2022-2024. I will wait for the 2025 version I guess.

I had one on my 22. I mounted a dash cam on it, with a couple of RAM mounts. Very sturdy unit. If they make one for the 25 at some point, I may spin again.

I have installed the Bulletpoint mount. I have one for my phone with the cord free charger and one for my Garmin gps. The Garmin is for backup when the phone looses cell connection on trips.

Yes I would recommend this product. Was pretty straight forward to install. But would get a set of the nylon pry tools not to scratch anything and use light pressure when lifting out the tray (I did break one of the clips, but not a big deal). The other reason I got this is that there made in the USA. So I would say go for it.

I liked them being made in USA as well. I’m sold. Thanks for the info!

In Google maps (maybe other maps, too), go to Offline settings and download all the offline maps you need. They work without a mobile data connection. All you need is GPS. They also auto-update to the newest version, over Wi-Fi.

Yep. I have a handful of "maps" that auto-update every.......30 days? Cover the regions I might find myself in when out camping or road tripping or whatever. Not just the woodsy backroads areas, but also one that covers the entire I-5/I-405 north to south corridor in Washington State. For if the shiz really hits the fan and there is a cell outage in an urban area.

Yep. I'm anxiously waiting for the 2025 rubigrid to come out. I need to mount the head for my amateur radio transceiver somewhere, and right on top of the display seems to be the best spot. There are lots of ways to hack a mount together, but only one way to make the installation super-crisp and professional. I want to do it right.
