  1. Door Edge Guards Installed

I looked into it and was told that these become brittle within 2–3 years and can also damage the paint, so I opted for this transparent type instead https://www.ebay.com/itm/295446763839. I had it on my old Maverick for 3 years with zero issues, and when I was selling it, I removed the old...
  2. Has anyone installed the xipoqix Door Edge Protector?

You are correct, it is less of a protector and more of a noise inhibitor and decorator. But I did see a used Maverick at the dealership that had scuffs in that area, maybe from someone keeping something metal in the back seats and not being careful when taking it out.
  3. Has anyone installed the xipoqix Door Edge Protector?

I returned mine and will wait for version 2.0 or for another manufacturer to come up with an improved version. This one has a couple of issues: 1. it does not sit completely flush and has noticeable gaps on the top, 2. the thickness needs to be slightly wider to reduce more sound and the...
  4. ✨ Mabett New Arrivals – Blue Edition

Mabette makes quality products without question, but they often seem to get the colors wrong. Like many others, I am also doing a blue theme on my truck and was excited to order these, but ended up disappointed with the shade of blue. To me, they lean more toward the mismatching darker side and...
  5. Bull Bar Push Bar -- anyone installed one?

I agree does not look good. I was looking for a low-profile, wide bull bar that serves the purpose and is almost invisible. I did a lot of online research but could not find any. My husband came up with a custom one and hope some manufacturer can make it.
  6. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

Aleks, thanks a lot for the picture. In my opinion, it's similar to Ford's soft cover length and not that bad. Do you have any issues with it? By the way, I also noticed you have upgraded the third brake light. is that the X3B LED 3rd Brake Light almost got it for 200+
  7. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

If it's not too much to ask, could you please share two pictures one with it folded three times and another with it folded fourth? I just want to see how much of the window it would block, if any.
  8. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

Ok, this is also a contender, provided the price drops. I did notice it fall below 700 a couple of times, and I’m guessing with the four folds, it won't be too heavy? Are the 3rd and 4th flip easy or do they feel heavy?
  9. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

This is a solid option for many; one of the downsides is that you need to be tall and strong enough to manage the height and weight. I am petite, lo,l might not work for me
  10. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

Thank you for the pictures, Tom. Based on them, it appears the length is 11 inches, which is just 1 inch more than any regular trifold, so it's decent. The height that's lost at the bottom due to the rolled hard cover is about 8 inches — a loss of 88 square inches, which isn't terrible.

Yes, you could be 100% correct that a hard roll-up would withstand weight on top and not be damaged by a coconut-like object falling on it. I was only asking because I have heard differing opinions, and since I have no personal experience, I wanted others who have used a hard roll-up to weigh...
  12. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

I’m waiting on other members to respond about whether the hard roll-up is strong enough to withstand weight, such as if something like a coconut falls on it. Just FYI, many tri-fold options take up less than 3 inches when folded and sit flush to the window (they don’t block the view). I had...
  13. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

Why you are not clear is a mystery you need to solve. I just asked someone to read your messages, and they interpreted them exactly the way I had. Just one example. There is no other way to interpret your sentence: "at least that you're replying to people who are suggesting tonneaus in the price...
  14. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

You don't need to get frustrated. I did read your messages multiple times. I'm sorry, but they are not unequivocal or clear. You haven't responded directly to the clear points I asked for and instead sent vague responses. From now on, I will be straightforward (not being rude): you are wrong...
  15. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

Thank you for your response. I had missed seeing the review; I will read it later today. I also was not aware of the Flowkottu website thanks for sharing, it will help others also. I think I am going to contact them and see if they are working on a version 2 to improve their existing product...
  16. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

I'm a bit confused; could you please clarify the relevance of your posts discussing anything above 750? I feel like my main point still hasn't been addressed.
  17. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

Could you please also share the URL? When I search, I find this one, which does not meet the requirement: https://www.amazon.com/LEER-HF650M-Quad-Folding-Profile-Tonneau/dp/B082FMG6QK?
  18. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

I could only interpret this as meaning tri-fold hard; to be honest, I wasn’t sure what you were trying to say in your first message, as it wasn’t very clear. Sorry if I misunderstood, but don't you think my thread starter is very clear, with 0 ambiguity the minimum requirement is clearly set...
  19. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

Thank you for your message. Flowkottu would have been a no-brainer if they addressed the water leaks some have observed at the tailgate area and the unusually bold ugly logo. I agree that the majority of reviews are positive, but as I mentioned earlier posts, I saw a few complaints about the...
  20. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

I kindly request that you thoroughly read my original thread starter and my response to ColinL's criteria misunderstanding; I nowhere exclude tri-fold hard; I have also replied to many posts from other members discussing tri-fold hard. The two product types being discussed in this thread are...
