Build Week vs Build Day

22 Rollover with vin here. So I got my build week of January 23 and was told by ford chat my actual build day was set to 1/26/23. I know ford has a history of pushing back dates but has anyone noticed or heard is it more set in stone (ish) when you actually have a day selected?

Same day for me. I got pushed back 4 or 5 times before and I'm a bit gun shy now. It's been holding steady so far, crossing my fingers.

Good News. Production day is, or is, much closer to being set in stone. In fact, I do not recall anyone getting a production day having it moved back and back. If someone has had this happen to them, speak up now!!!!

I had a production week of Jan 2. Production day of Jan 4. I'm now production week Jan 9.

From what I've gathered, when you get a build day you can relax a little and the chances of it moving are a lot lower. That said, about a week ago, Ford chat told me I had a build day of Jan 31st, and a few days later (this most recent Friday) was told build day of Feb 2nd. I will be doing a Ford chat every Friday until it goes into production so we will see this coming Friday if it's back to Jan 31st, still at Feb 2nd, or on a different day altogether.

Had a 22 reorder to a 23... Then got a build week of 12/19... Called custom service to find out about my private offer was in the system(it isn't... Salesman said every private offer for their dealership hasn't shown up and the regional ford rep has to push them all threw manually) but they gave me a production start date was on 12/20
Then got a push email to week of 1/2... Then got another push email a week later to 1/9... So untill it starts production they can get pushed... Have a eco fx4 and lux

I had a ‘22 VIN for my XLT Lux Hybrid. It had a scheduled build day in early October, but then got pushed back until it was canceled.

I now have a scheduled build day of Jan 12 for my ‘23 XLT Lux Hybrid, but it’s actually showing as “in production” and has a window sticker already. I don’t have any modules populated yet though.

Me. Six times I had build weeks and three of those had build dates. So nothing is really set in stone these days.
Now my 23 had a build week of 1/23, found out today I have a build day of 1/24.. Fingers crossed.

Doesn’t appear to matter with Ford. My original build WEEK was August 29. Pushed back 14 times.

My original build DAY for the rolled-over order was Jan 2. Been pushed-back 4 times already to the 12th. Yes, I know it is only 10 days, but the trend is the same. The closer I get, the further away it seems.

I had a production week of Jan 2. Production day of Jan 4. I'm now production week Jan 9.

Same for me. Had a build date of 1/3, now 1/10. It's Tuesday so Ford will be kicking the can again today.
