Brand New Ford OEM Bed Mat Came Dirty

Just purchased a 2025 Maverick XLT, and used my Ford points to get the Ford Bed Mat, when it arrived I noticed it looked dirty, after trying to clean it I found the spots on it look like string that's melted into the mat. These spots are all over the mat front and back. Has anyone else experienced this or is this normal? It looks terrible in person to be an OEM mat right out of the bag.

Mine came with a little of what yours has. My issue is that it wasn't trimmed very well. I had to clean up the edges myself. Not a big deal, but a little annoying.

It appears to be that the rubber was not completely mixed/under mixed. Just FYI:

Raw, natural rubber is a milky white liquid (latex) that becomes a pale yellow, off-white, or light tan/brown solid when coagulated and processed, but it's usually turned black with additives like carbon black for durability in products like tires.

What do you mean "I don't think"....are we not looking at a actual pictue of said bedmat?? Maybe change it to "My bed mat does not look like yours"

That is NOT a official Ford Maverick Bed Mat, but definately looks better. Ford is aware of the problem, they do not manufacture the mat, its made by a supplier.

Simple, if your using points and your going to your local dealer, open the mat and see if its acceptable before leaving.

I just went to dealer to look at the second mat, and it looks just as bad if not worse than the first one I had that I posted pictures of. Since for knows of the issue are they gonna replace it or?

If they are reputable they should. Mine is perfect, maybe I just got lucky................................

Last two bed mats that I bought from Ford ..one for my 250 in ‘22 and one for my Maverick in ‘24 both had white lines like in your pictures but not near as bad as yours.
