Having read posts about grabby braking at low speeds, I thought I would ask for feedback from those who have their Mavericks (I don't even have a build date yet on my Hybrid Lariat Lux) on braking in reverse. I will be backing into my garage, and have limited room for error - about 6 inches each front and back.
Is the braking going in reverse smooth or grabby? Any suggestions would be appreciated based on your experiences.

Although I have had a couple of instances of the grabby brake issue in 800 miles, I have never experienced even the slightest hiccup in reverse. In fact it feels a little different in reverse. I suspect it's just ordinary conventional braking.

1800 miles. No problem with braking, forward or reverse.

I had the sudden braking early on but that was corrected. I've never felt any problems in reverse. the weird beeping sound however. You can get some funny looks.

I had the software update done, and it totally eliminated the issue on mine. But then, the grabby thing happened only occasionally for me anyway...and NEVER in reverse. Pretty sure it's only the friction brakes in play when backing up.
