Brake Maintenance mode

Hey Mavericks! Anybody put a '22 AWD into brake maintenance mode without the use of the scan tool ? I've heard there is a way to do this thru the screen on the dash ? Any info is helpful. My dealer quoted me $650 for back rotors and pads ...... ridiculous

How many miles did the brakes last?

Have 66,000 on them now (originals). Ford service mgr. says at next oil change (6000 extended warranty rules) , they will need to go . Now have 3/32 thickness .

Yes, thank you. I only have 25K on my 22 but refuse to pay crazy money for such a simple job so I printed it out and stuck it in my document case for future reference.

So, I was able to get it in brake maintenance mode, but I am not able to get it back to normal???? I've tried many times, even had my wife do it, in case I was doing something wrong, but no bueno . I've tried different procedures from YouTube, still nothing puts it back to normal??? Mine is the XL AWD Ecoboost, does that require a different procedure ? Any guidance is definitely appreciated.
