Ours is sitting in Louisville, KY, I'm sure waiting on more railcars from the Ford plants there.

I haven't asked my dealer for shipping info. According to Ford website, it shipped on Friday. Based on another Long-Lewis customer who shipped two weeks ago, I can expect it around mid-to-late July. So, could be my birthday truck.

My hybrid Lariat started production well after yours, but finished production just a few days after yours, but has not shipped yet. If you can believe the tracker.

My hybrid Lariat started production well after yours, but finished production just a few days after yours, but has not shipped yet. If you can believe the tracker.

I will say my tracker didn't update the shipping information until two days after it shipped. So, tracker is definitely wonky. Also makes me wonder if my truck was indeed built on schedule and just didn't get scanned correctly until it was about to get on the train as it went from "built" to "shipped" on consecutive days despite taking two weeks to be built.

Tracker showed mine shipped on 6/23. Checked with Ford Chat yesterday - they said "Awaiting Shipment"

I have never received an email from Ford - for anything. Everything I've discovered about my order has been through Chat or calls to Customer Service
I didn’t receive anything from Ford after placing my order last September either. It wasn’t until I went back to my dealer mid-February 2023 to modify my order that it was discovered that the dealership entered my email address wrong when placing the order. They corrected that I’ve been getting emails from Ford ever since.

Thanks .... all along I've thought that fat-fingering my email was the issue. But I wasn't too concerned since I wasn't convinced my truck would ever be built. However, now that it's shipped (maybe) I'll be checking with my salesman to make sure my points, etc. make it to the correct home.

There is still a blend date for the Maverick, even though it is not shown on the MY23 window stickers. We just have to guess now base on when the modules populate. Last year the date was shown on the sticker (in code). It is when the engine meets the body assembly on the final assembly/trim line.
So is trim line the final stage? It’s currently the secondary status of mine in production.

My truck just shipped yesterday 7/2 after being built on 6/26 with an ETA of 8/4-8/17.

Dealer gave me a more concise window yesterday for delivery: 7/28-8/3. So, late birthday present.

I've already laid the groundwork for them to buy back the Explorer by telling my salesman that when the Maverick shows up, if I don't have my Explorer I plan to punt it. I could pull the Lemon Law on Ford over the Explorer, but I'm sure the dealer and Ford don't want to go that route and will offer an acceptable arrangement.

At this point, unless the Explorer gets fixed in the next two weeks, my intent is to take the Maverick home.

On the loaner front, I have to turn in my current loaner before 7/15 else it technically becomes a lease. So, they will swap out for another "rental." Honestly, I think stopping me from running up the miles on their inventory might be incentive enough to work with me...
