And you assume it is "ok" to drive in 1st gear all day in a manual transmission too? I'm not following your logic.

"L" button has a purpose.
I'm not convinced driving with it pressed all day long is consistent with that purpose.
I never use it, just push it to see if it still works 😏

I have never used mine. Hello I've never even pushed it before. I see a lot of posts about it and I guess it's just LOW GEAR ?

They are inherently different EB vs. Hybrid but the net behavior as sensed by the driver aim to be as similar as possible.

Basically it maximises Regen for cruise use in long down hill, saving hydraulic brakes. When HVB gets to 72% SOC it maximizes engine braking at something like 4800 rpm. After certain amount of time computer will cease ice braking to protect ice.

I've done quite a few "hacks", some Forscan dependent. One favorite was installing the turn signal stalk with button and setting up lane centering. I also waxed the auto stop/start feature, and set up traffic sign recognition with speed limit warning option. I call it Copilot 180°.

I installed USB and 12v power outlets in the bed, which should be handy when traveling with my portable fridge.
Lane centering or lane keep? I thought lane centering requires ACC and the radar in the grill.

+1 to TSR, I love that mod

I think you missed the point.

It's not going to make the truck instantly self destruct. But ever hear of "death by a thousand cuts"?
No, I understand, the point is you worrying about things you don't understand.
Using L is not going to break the transmission.

Joke's on you.
I never mentioned harm to the transmission.
Only stated facts about a system I understand very well.

Send me a DM if you'd like me to explain this hybrid truck to you. Otherwise have a nice day!
