My wild idea is to find a wrecked all wheel drive rear independent suspension assembly and install it in the rear of my 24 hybrid getting away from the twist beam type may improve handling. Of course I would remove the differential and just use the outer part of the rear CV joints I believe the subassembly’s bolt in exactly the same. The rear wheel speed sensors should be the same plug ? . Anyhow food for thought.

Would you recommend using polish on new vehicle.
It shouldn't be necessary; polishing is to remove the imperfections/damage and smooth it back out.

I'm putting a ceramic coat on my wife's new maverick. For the first panels (the step behind the rear window and the rear driver quarter panel) I washed twice with rinseless wash (separate microfiber for each), used a clay mitt with detailing spray as lubricant, then a product remover, at which point I applied the ceramic. I won't bother with the clay and remover again; it was smoother than I've ever had under a clay bar anyway.

I've been looking at my 2 bay garage and thinking it's time for a re-do
We're moving, hopefully in the next year. She wants a wrap around porch, and I want at least a six car garage with two lifts--in addition to the garage for the daily driver. Everything else is a detail. (OK, we both want "no nightly police helicopters flying low with spotlights", too, as we have to push the television a time or two each night. It was such a nice neighborhood when we moved here 35 years ago . . .).

My wife hates that I won’t let her put her stuff in it but that rule has to be enforced or I’d be surrounded by seasonal decorative crap! Her house, My garage!!
Cueing Charleston Heston's speech, but replacing "cold dead fingers" with "not one square inch!"

I don't envy you driving into NYC, I've done a few times and it always a hair raising experience
I was there as a pedestrian the first time, and in a Crown Victoria the second. Much better surrounded by lots of steel!

Also he was a truck driver and hated NYC, Chicago, etc.
My father took me to the aptly named "Blood Alley" in San Jose the night he taught me to drive, not telling me until later.

I've driven in Boston, NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco.

I regularly passed through LA freeways during the shootings.

There is only one place that I'n afraid to drive: a Catholic parking lot after mass!
