Depends on what "Truck stuff" I have to do. Haul a few bags of chicken feed - yes. Haul 25 bags of mulch - Maverick takes that win.But can the c

Nope, but it looks a heck of lot better than the Maverick. But can the can the Camry do "truck stuff"?![]()
You can fit more stuff in the Camry than a Mav??Nope, but it looks a heck of lot better than the Maverick.
People were always blown away with how much stuff I put in my Camry Hybrid (vehicle I owned before the Maverick BTW). I would show up to a job site, and people would be asking if I needed to borrow their tools. Then I'd open the trunk and start hauling all my gear out. With the back seat down I could put stuff in there that doesn't fit in the bed of the Maverick, without the tailgate down.
I think this body of the Rav4 is the best one. It actually looks more like an adventure SUV. I currently have a 2018 and almost held out for the 2019 but saw one in my blue and was sucked in. Totally regret it. The new body style looks so much better and gets better mpgI am aware the current gen body style is from 2019. I think the body style looks very dated, blah/bland/boring.
I feel that the Maverick Hybrid is the best looking Hybrid over 40 MPG, EVER. Maybe the 2023 Prius will take that crown when it comes out...thoughts???
To each their own. I think it looks tired and dated, though other generations have looked worse. We'll have to agree to disagree on the esthetics of the current generation RAV4.I think this body of the Rav4 is the best one. It actually looks more like an adventure SUV. Although the current generation is something like 5 years old, I think it's held up pretty well.Ahh yes, but the RAV4 is in desperate need of a body style refresh!
Depends on what you mean by more. Not height wise no. Length wise with the back seats down, it gave more space than the bed of the Maverick with the gate closed. The total length of a Camry from the 2007-2010 generation I had is only 11 inches shorter than the Maverick after all. I could fit items over 6 feet long in the back of the Camry. Stuff like that in the Maverick has to be with the tailgate down, or propped up against the tailgate with the bed cover pulled back. Maverick is still way easier, and safer, to transport stuff. You can fit more stuff in the Camry than a Mav??
Got you beat. My 07 Ford Focus wagon can haul 8 ft. lumber with the hatch closed. 10-12 ft. opened up. I get 31-35 mpg too. Not bad for a car pushing over 265,000 miles on it.Nope, but it looks a heck of lot better than the Maverick.
