I don't think I have heard of any fitment issues with any of the tonneau covers for the Maverick, except some of the cheaper soft covers. I think the Truxedo Trifold soft cover was short... not sure if they fixed that.

Bakflip MX4 hard cover seems to be popular. I have one being delivered tomorrow and most everything I read about it was positive.

I got the backflip roll up mostly for security and when its rolled up I can still see out the back.

The Truxedo Pro X15 is a prefect fit in a rollup. It’s not the cheapest version out there, put it fits and looks great IMO.

I went with the Truxedo Sentry CT Tonneau Hard Rollup Cover and have been pleased with the fit of the cover, the low profile look, the security feature and having full bed access and rear view visibility when rolled up.

If your goal is to keep the bed area dry, don't get the hard trifold from the dealer. It leaks on all four corners.

Same here but have not installed yet- Is it somewhat difficult to open/close the tailgate with this cover ?

I just picked up my Maverick have put about 160 miles on it . I got 48 MPH on it unreal I so far I love it . They put the wrong tonneau tunnel cover on it. It's the Ford trifold they should have moved it back about another 3/8 to half inch storm last night all kinds of water in the back of the bed. Called today they will get me my roll up like it was supposed to have just my opinion I like the roll up better and they could have done a better job installing it also.

How water tight has this been for you and what’s the flap like on the high way? I need something for a 3 hour drive to the beach every few weeks and don’t want any luggage I toss back there getting soaked.

I have not had any water issues in the bed. This cover has heavy-duty matte black aluminum slats that are pressure-bonded to the fabric. There are built-in rubber seals in front, underside rails, and rollup header bar designed to keep your cargo dry. My daily drive to work is mostly interstate travel and I don't experience flapping with this cover. The slam latch, security latch in the center of the cover and the flow-profile design keeps the cover secure while traveling.

The sentry cant open/close the tailgate while its rolled down correct?

Two questions on the hard roll-ups:

1) Can you stop anywhere along the roll or is it fully open/fully closed?

2) Which roll-up cover is the easiest to remove? Sure you can roll it up but it will still take up space at the front and occasionally need the full bed access.
