Best extended warranty options.

I have a 2023 hybrid. Ford has sent me the paperwork to apply for Ford protect.

As my warranty is about to expire, I am questioning whether to purchase an extended warranty.

I currently only have 10,500 miles on it. It has been serviced every year. Oil changes and check ups. As you can see, I don’t drive it very far for being almost three years old.

The only thing I’m concerned about immediately, is the problem the Ford is apparently having with the axles???? will they be covered regardless? If and when they go out.? does anybody know?

Only consider a genuine Ford extended warranty, if you decide to get one. Too many horror stories of 3rd party "extended warranty" companies that have so many restrictions and pre-approvals, that actually cover very little, or are a huge pain to get reimbursements from. A genuine Ford warranty can be used at any Ford dealership in North America with no hassles. They are also very negotiable in price, so check around and see if your local dealer will come close to matching what Granger could provide for a Ford extended warranty. Granger (as noted above) is one Ford dealer that is very well known for their very competitive warranty pricing and happily sells them to customers all over the country (with only a few states they don't sell the warranty in).

The warranty is the same Ford backed warranty that Granger and most dealers offer.
The price noted was better than dealer quotes I've seen, but it is more expensive on my vehicle by $25 than what I got from Granger.
