What Cross Bars are you running? Love the Look.
thought you guys might like these photos of my tent setup. Hard rollup cover still has enough room to roll under the cross bars.
Great set up! My22 is scheduled to be here end of Oct and my budget is for bed Rails and an tent. Do those bed rails adjust in height? I would love to get a set I can use for the tent then raise above cab for my stand up paddleboards when tent not in use. Where I have them right now is the highest, just high enough to get the rollup under emGreat set up! My22 is scheduled to be here end of Oct and my budget is for bed Rails and an tent. Yeah not a fan either. Maybe because I am fat and would probably not make it up the ladder. I'd rather have a small teardrop. Then you can leave it and explore the area. However the boss would never let me get one unless it has a full shower toilet etc. For that may as well get a room.I never understood bed top tents. Why do you like them? I know I'd fall out on those late night trips to the bathroom.
Any benefit to sleeping above ground? Other than that rock you missed jabbing you in the kidney!
I noticed the roll up ..that’s a great set up for you. Thanks for inputWhere I have them right now is the highest, just high enough to get the rollup under em
Hard rollup, ts elevate rails, Home Depot generic cross bars, and the tent. I have the awd fx4 so not sure how that would effect the hybrid, I really haven’t seen too much of an mpg drop eitherCan we get a list of everything involve in your setup? I always thought if you have a tonneau cover, a setup like this is a no go.
Also, aside from mpg hit, what issues I might run into if I did this to my hybrid?
Is it full time living on your truck bed or do you take it down?Hard rollup, ts elevate rails, Home Depot generic cross bars, and the tent. I have the awd fx4 so not sure how that would effect the hybrid, I really haven’t seen too much of an mpg drop either
