Bed Cover Question

Now the RiverMaverick looks like it might be real (I have a VIN and build date) I'm thinking about what I am going to do with it. The only accessories I'm thinking of are a back seat cover for the doggie and a bed cover. My question is: are any of the bed covers strong enough or have provision to put cargo on top of it - fairly light items like a bike or wheelchair?

Yes, many of the hard covers claim to be able to support a few hundred pounds of weight. For example, the BAKFlip MX4 says it will support 400 lbs.

Most of the HARD covers I have seen even the cheaper ones on amazon can hold at least a 100 pounds. More than enough for bike or wheelchair. The tricky part would be securing them to the top of the hard cover.

You can get the Elevate TS rails which are compatible with certain hard covers and have tie downs that go in the channels.

I wanted the dealer liner at first bc of the FORD etched into it, but it does seem very light compared to linex for example with a lifetime warranty
