Ball Park Delivery Estimate Please

Maverick Club Members,

I have read numerous posts on this site discussing our delivery questions (and lack of). My question is this - On August 30th I ordered an Alto Blue XLT, 2.0 Turbo, AWD W/4k Tow Pkg, Basic Interior, 400w inverter, Floor Liner W/Mats, plus a few other goodies that I think the dealer will install. When can I realistically expect delivery here in Southern Indiana???

no body knows that answer. Could be 2 months. Could be a year.

With so many variables, including dealer allotment and supply issues with associated plant shut downs, all anyone can do is give you a ballpark guess (I wouldn't even call it an estimate).

I'll guess March-April. But who knows, it could be June-July.

In addition to the commodity list, can you install the other accessories your self? You could save money and potentially get the truck sooner by removing any accessories that you can install your self. Than take the part number to google and find it for 20-30 percent off. You will likely get the items before the truck arrives.

The plan was to build 5k units in January. That number was double Decembers total. With more supply issues I don’t see that number happening but I’m not Ford.

Since your not scheduled for production yet the earliest you will get the truck is January, realistically February to March.

last call 800-334-4375 and verify they have your order confirmed. If they don’t have it you will wait forever. Hold times are usually 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Where in Southern Indiana? I'm in Evansville. I ordered in early July and my truck shipped four weeks ago. The delivery ETA keeps getting pushed back.

Yes, 1965 Mustang total production was 559,451. That's 1532 a day at 365 days per year, or 2152 a day at 260 work days for a 5 day week.

Oh, ok. They also had 3 plants running about that time as well, I believe. As I recall they added Mustangs to those other plants in 65.
