I got mine about a week before the estimated delivery date. Remember, it's an estimate. It's not a date certain.
But since there's nothing anyone can do to affect it, it seems pointless to me.
Bottom line is the truck will arrive when it arrives and there's nothing you can do about it. There's hundreds of things you can change in your life. Anytime you focus on something you can't do anything about means you wasted time you could spend on things you can affect.
Seems like an unproductive thing to do.
If there was something we could do about it, like pay a premium to get the build or shipment expedited, then I could understand the obsession with tracking things every step of the way.your wife is right!Honestly, I just don't understand why people are so obsessed over knowing every little detail (most are incorrect) on exactly where their truck is in build and delivery process? Is this new build to order model causing some kind of mass insanity?
Back when it was normal to simply go to dealer lots and check over your vehicle choices nobody ever thought/cared about the steps it took to build and deliver those cars to the lot. I'm not spending a minute of my life stressing over it now. YMMV
