Yesterday a very competent, young mobile mechanic from Reineke Dealerships put a new battery in my wife's Honda CR-V. I asked him if he could do the camera fix on my 2024 Maverick XLT, also. He checked with his boss, and was given permission. It only took about 40 minutes. Then he said we would leave the Mav alone for at least five minutes. He explained it was to reboot the electronic system, and not allowing it to do so, can result in problems. He was right.
Meanwhile, the CRV's dash and display were going bonkers. He asked to drive the suv around for a bit, and it would straighten it out. Again, he was correct.
I am pleased that he took great care of my wife and I, and that he was very polite, knowlegable, customer oriented and competent.
BTW, the Maverick was on a battery minder to the 12v system for a little over six(6) months, and fired right up.
