B&O upgrades for Beginners?

OK so what size is the center speaker? And did you have to rewire it or is it a plug and play. The sound deadening in the doors looks easy enough just time of pulling all the door components and then reinstalling.

From my experience with the B&O system I'd say replace the center speaker first. It sucks slightly having to buy a pair when you need only one, but Infinity Reference are a good choice here and like $50. Maybe JBL if they're cheaper; they're under the same brand umbrella.

I actually didn't notice a huge change swapping door woofers/tweeters but then I replaced them near immediately so I didn't give them much of a run through their paces. A Kicker Key really woke up the JBLs I installed although that alone would be a lion's share of a $400 budget.

3 1/2". I don't know offhand if there's a readily compatible pigtail. If one is handy with a soldering iron it's not particularly involved to surreptitiously steal the one off the stock speaker or just cut the thing off to be repurposed.

Has anyone tested how clean the signal output is from the B&O amp? I am adding an after market amp and planning on inputting line level source to my 5 channel amp from the B&O system output. I plan on running Morel 2 ways in the front and 4" coax Morels in the rear. I am on the fence if a signal processor will make a big difference. Any thoughts?
