B&O sub ohms?

Anyone know how many ohms the B&O sub is? What would happen if I replaced it with a sub with a different ohm rating?

it's 4 ohm. people have replaced the 6x9 in the factory enclosure but if you're using the factory amp you need to keep it as 4 ohm or wire dual 2-ohm in series to get 4 ohm nominal.

if you replaced it with 2 or 3 ohm you should expect the amp to clip and if you're lucky it will shut down, if you're unlucky you'll destroy it.

if you replaced the 6x9 with anything over 4 ohm you should expect it to play but with less power than before.
