Twice in the last week the automatic brake assist warning lit up on the dashboard but the truck didn't actually brake.
My wife was driving the Maverick both times so this is a second hand account.
The first time she was driving at 50 mph on a major road with no cars directly ahead of her for a long distance. The second time, she was driving around a roundabout at a very slow speed.
After the second incident, I pulled a small number of leafs out of the grill - I have little confidence that this will fix anything but guessed that it couldn't hurt.
Has anyone else have this happen to them? And if you did what was the cause.
I'm slow to bring it to the local service department, my confidence in them is low as the last time they kept my truck for a week and found nothing (different problem - engine air leak warning).
