Auto Start Stop fix, at least for me

Fallowing a previous threat here I found this, 4D Tech Auto Start Stop Eliminator.
I did installed this morning it took less the 15 min, easy, will remove just as fast in case Ford complains.

Been working as expected, this is the Amazon link for it.

Yes it does, push the button! (free). Four steps to drive--1. push starter, 2. push parking brake off, 3. push auto start/stop button, 4. shift transmission knob, .GO!

There are some situations where I like to use this feature. I just wish it would default to OFF!

I guess is personal preference, but its even easier, Start the truck put in park an go, by the way and maybe I will open another can of worms but is it wrong if I just park and turn the truck off? it will got in to park bi itself any ways.
I think I hear something about a recall with the parking brake but it was just for the Hybrid if not mistaken.
What the point on using the parking brake all the times any ways, I'm just a flatlander, so I don't get it.

Forscan also works. just $30 for a dongle and any old laptop. Since you have a lariat you can make the key fob open and close the windows too!

You’re surely missing a few seatbelt acknowledgements, and changing the drive mode if you want it something other than the default. But I’m commuting, not going to the moon. No desire to run through a pre-flight checklist just to get moving.

You’re surely missing a few seatbelt acknowledgements, and changing the drive mode if you want it something other than the default. But I’m commuting, not going to the moon. No desire to run through a pre-flight checklist just to get moving.

Not a fascination, just not an issue.

Not a fascination, just not an issue for me.

Fixed that for you. Hopefully you can realize that others may have different tolerances and different perspectives than yours. It is not necessary that you understand them.

Once you configure everything you’ll also need to go into the infotainment and turn the setting on.
