I just installed the auto stop eliminator in my mav. After the install I of course started the truck a few times pressing button manually to see if it worked as described. Well my screen came up with an error communications failure when i shut the truck off? anyone seen this? Also the check back seat message no longer appears which is an added plus for me Lol.

You should return it for a refund. Just wait until your Maverick 12V battery gets to the point where it's consistently 11.99v at rest and your Maverick will automatically disable it for you. I haven't had it since August......battery is always 11.99 ish volts at rest.

Cool did the check the back seat message come up again? Got my truck yesterday and found it very annoying. Still not sure if I have to answer it.

Different issue entirely. The back seat warning is enabled by default and you can go into your vehicle settings and turn it off.

Whatever communication error message the op is describing is not normal. I've had my autostop eliminator in 2 trucks with no issues so I'm guessing he needs to call them and exchange it for one that works properly.
