I've lurked here for a while and have learned a lot from these forums, so much good info. This thread along with a Bronco Sport in my building helped me solidify my choice for Area 51. Pretty impressed with this little truck. I never got to test drive one but did rent one for a day from Turo and knew I could expect good highway mileage which is probably 95% of my driving although I rarely drive thanks to work from home. My first 50+ mile highway trip I averaged almost 39mpg and that trip was about 90% highway. I have had many turbo charged vehicles before and the secret to good mileage is staying out of boost plus I've always been a speed limit driver which helps.
I was able to find some dirt cheap Bronco Sport Outer Banks wheels on craigslist and mounted some 235/65R18 Michelin Defender LTX M/S on them, I will never do crazy offroading but appreciate the Defender's abilities in the rain and snow for trips I take to New England to see friends. (Disregard the TPMS light, that was before I had the Defenders mounted and the sensors switched over from the stock steelies)
I already added a leather Bronco Sport steering wheel and activated cruise control. The only other things I'll add are tint for the front windows to match the rear tint, 3M Paint protection film and a BAK X4S that's on its way from Realtruck (Thanks Alex).
