So my Subaru about to hit 15 years and the rust starting to be a big issue. So after looking the maverick is the best option for me.

Looking at a 2.0l XLT AWD (we only get AWD on 2.0 in Canada), with 4k tow, FX4, 360 and Lux. Toss in the sliding rear window and that's about it. O and i may go for the Cyber orange (my 3 year old daughters favorite color)

Anyone have any MUST have accessorizes or suggestions when ordering. Note the dealer has 2 builds allocated to them, else yes i knoiw 2022 is sold out.

And yep it will be 5 to 6 months before i see it is best guess

You can't order anything at this time, not even MY23.

As stated above you have to wait to order. Mid August is when order banks open for MY 23. Builds start in October and deliveries start in November I believe. I wouldn’t expect to see it tell next year either as some MY22s will roll over. You also have some constraint items on there as well (copilot, lux package). I’m betting Jan/Feb 2023 if you get in on the ground floor in August. The dealer could put you on a wait list to order in August but don’t let him trick you into thinking your getting it faster.

As for accessories. I would order everything extra ala cart. You have at least 10 months to wait so buy what you like through the year. I’ve got a huge box full of stuff.

Alternatively you could scope dealers out for a build similar to yours. Though you may have to pay mark ups of thousands. If your lucky to find a dealer who doesn’t do mark ups see if they have a few similar builds on order and if they will call you IF the buyer backs out. Best of luck 🤞

Nope, when I ordered I was told I was getting in before the shut down, so Canada was included in that. I was also told 8-10 months so the OPs 5-6 month estimate should be doubled even if he can order.

Sounds like the dealer possibly has allocation for a couple of dealer ordered models for stock. Even then I doubt they'll be delivered anytime soon. I ordered a pretty basic XL Ecoboost the first week in January and even though I'm already scheduled, given the chip shortage I anticipate it will sit in the desert for a few months too after it's "produced" this month so MAYBE I'll see it in June or more likely July putting me at over 6 months from order date to delivery.

Yep they have allocated. So there is a chance . Now of course 6 months atleast is what I expect. That's fine as let's me build up a bigger down payment 🙂

You cant place an order for a 2022 anymore. It sounds like they are going to let you reserve a stock unit that is on the way. That is different than putting in an order because you arent customizing it to your liking and its not tied to your name officially with Ford.

That's good you want a new Maverick but the order bank is closed for the 2022 run and the order bank for the 2023 Maverick doesn't open until August 16th. So you can go look at pictures but that's all

It will be 6 months BEFORE you can order it, so you're going to have a longer wait than 6 months.
