After updating to the newest iOS update the problems I have been having with my phone not connecting to CarPlay reliably have gone away!
Cool, I have 15.2.1 Now just need my truck…another week or two.

For now. As one updates, the other is planning the update that will screw up the last update and the cycle starts over again.

After updating to the newest iOS update the problems I have been having with my phone not connecting to CarPlay reliably have gone away!
It looks like one of the specific targets in this IOS update was to address CarPlay issues. Apple defines 15.2.1 as containing bug fixes including this issue .... “Third-party CarPlay apps may not respond to input“.
