Can someone either point me to or let me know when the latest 24 Ford Maverick hybrid XLT was ordered and then received by customer?

I placed an order for my wife to get her a Maverick, and I haven’t heard anything cents, though, I’m not in a rush for it to come in, just trying to understand where I’m at in the line

I placed my order for a 2024 Ford Maverick, XLT hybrid, in hot pepper red, with LUX and Copilot 360. Placed the order back in mid-July

Im guessing you were a brand new order, please let me know if im wrong on that. Ford is still working on getting 23 to 24 rollover orders scheduled. I know here we have only maybe a handful of rollovers left to schedule and have scheduled some new orders. other dealers that get fewer allocations may still have rollovers or may take a little it longer to get you scheduled.

My best suggestion to get a idea of when you may see yours get scheduled is to ask your dealer on average how many allocations they get a month, how many roll over orders they have left to schedule and how many total orders they have to schedule. with this information you can get a good guess at a timeline.

Time to call Ford Marketing with your order number, if you did not receive the email order acknowledement that should hve come within hours of your dealer submitting your order. If Ford did not get your correct email address from your dealer, then you won't be kept apprised of what is going on...but Ford Chat or Ford Marketing will know the current status.

Timing depends on your dealer and its allocations. I ordered my wife's 2024 on July 17 and it arrived January 17. Small town dealer.

I orderedbrandnew 2024 Lariot hybrid August 23rd 23 it was built December 16th and I recieved it on Jan 18th. It was not a roll over order and had everything but the moon roof.

You’ve already gotten some good advice here, but I’ll reiterate, talk to your dealer. If they put in your email address with the order you should be receiving an email from Ford every 45 days to remind you they haven’t forgotten about your order.
I ordered a Cactus Gray XLT Hybrid Lux with CP360 on July 18, 2023. My small town MS dealer had 7 rollover/new orders ahead of me and had allocations for 10. I was scheduled on November 30, 2023 for a Feb 5, 2024 build week. We’ll see if it gets built next week and then how long it takes to get here.

You haven't even started waiting.
It's a crapshoot.
Some have got them after only a few months, some years.
Mine was 1 year 3 1/2 months. Just got it.
They will use BS words like "allocations".
That's suppose to determine what dealers get what trucks - but they won't tell you which dealers and the dealers won't tell you what trucks and if they do they are probably lying.
It's just waiting.
Get on with your life, when and if it comes it comes. Even get another car. Do not rely on Ford or it's dealers to reassure you or tell you anything, again if they do, they are probsably lying or telling you what they think you want to hear.

You would have to ask your dealer how many allocations they have left and if they have any for hybrids. If they do it could be as quick as 90 days to built and about another month for shipping. On the other hand I am on month 16 and mine is finally built and somewhere between the factory and me now. So a safe bet is 4-14 months.

Being bitter doesn't help...and neither does telling someone to put their head in the sand and wait. Allocations are a very real thing. Ford will be able to let him know his correct and true status, which may simply be "Order is confirmed". And that is better than no info.

I think you can wait - or do a deep dive down the rabbit hole.
I did both.
The first year I just waited.
Then I got into reading these forums, Ford Authority, Maverick chat, any news about Maverick production.
How many they were making each month, the "allocations" my dealer had, if my order was properly "COVPed", if the strike was going to affect it, looking each day at the "progress", tracking the freaking train carrying it.
None of this made me get it any earlier, or eased my mind any.

I recommend the first year of simply waiting.

I know this does not apply to the OP but for any Canadian's new to how the ordering works and your reading this thread... note that you do not get any communication from Ford.ca. You can reach out to Ford Canada through their Customer Service via chat to get a confirmation the order was received but all other forms of communication go to your dealer. I have only had a few chats with my sales person but he has been very helpful and has always provided any information I request if it is available.

I ordered my first Maverick in September of 22 from Bill Brown ford in Livonia mi. From a salesman called LJ. Once he got a photo of my drivers license to put the order in I didn’t hear back from him until I called two weeks later wanting to tell him what options I wanted he then informed me he already ordered my truck. I asked him how he did that without asking me what I wanted on my maverick. He just said he can change the order so I told him what I wanted. I never received an email from ford. I called LJ back and he assured me he put in the order. Long story short I never received my Maverick from them I’m assuming the received it and sold it on the lot. When the order banks opened again in July of 23 I ordered a black out lariat from Gorno ford in Woodhaven mi. and picked it up December 29 of 23.

Similar story.
But I kind of knew this was going to happen.
So I ordered 2 identical trucks from 2 different dealers.
Suburban Ford of Sterling heights, MI totally Fed up my order - never got it.
Roy O'brien Ford in Saint Clare Shores MI finally got it after 1 year 3 1/2 months.
Had I just stuck with the first order I would have had nothing.
i don't know the point here other than they can mess it up.
Until we can get these delevered to our driveways we have to deal with this.

Not sure if I just got lucky, but I called a local dealer middle of December and salesman said they just received 3 Mavericks the previous day... 1 Eco and 2 Hybrids. I wanted an Eco and went that same day looked at it and purchased it. No dealer markups... I had dealer put in a bedliner.

It is a 2024 XLT Eco 4K with FX4 in Cactus Grey. Really like this truck.

Just make sure when you order a Maverick you receive an email confirmation from ford

This is happening more often, people are not taking their mavericks for an assortment of reasons, this has led to dealers having stock. so if you need a vehicle now or you dont want to wait any longer, i would suggest looking on dealers websites and finding one you like.
