Anyone Lose A Moonroof?

I would rather have the moonroof. We use ours all the time on our 08 Camry. Bought used in 09 and no leakes. Had a 97 camry 275k miles, no leakes on that sunroof either. I will use the Mavericks the same...Alot. Bummer deal OP.

I won't even look at on lot Mavericks if they don't have the sunroof. You want what you want.

Moonroofs present problems in the future and I rarely use them. I've had many cars with moonroofs and I would rarely use them, but several of them have broken or leaked. I personally wouldn't order a moonroof on a vehicle... and I didn't.

Yes, it is able to tilt open and slide open.

I felt the same way about rear sliding windows when I was searching lot inventories for a 23 XL or XLT.

I like moonroofs, use them, and got one on my 24 XLT. We have one on our 10 CRV and it's never given us a problem; the one on my 02 Outback did eventually leak into the back when it was 12+ years old, but that was because of the stupid place Subaru put the drain exit (in the wheel wells, where the exit valves got coated with mud).
That said, I'm not sure I'd get the Maverick one again, as it is far narrower than the one on the CRV; the edges are at about the middle of my head.

Another hole in roof for possible leaks . something else to break and repair . same goes for slide outs on campers . no thanks.

Sliding rear window is the poor man's moonroof.
