Anyone know what this is ?

I pulled the rear seat back down to check on the jack location and noticed a weird bulge on the back side of the seat back stuffed with felt like material. This has no obvious purpose. Anyone know what it's there for? Emergency pillow? There are no dents in it that would indicate that it's pressing against something on the rear wall. Near as I can tell the only thing in that area of the wall is a couple of wire bundles. I'm stumped.

Looks like it is a pad to hold down what looks like your jack in place.

Nope, the jack is securely held in place with a screwed down strap. This 'pillow' does not touch the jack.

Maybe Ford is pulling the weed out when it crosses the border and installing the emergency pillow to fill the space. Conspiracy theory? That's what they'll say.....

It does have a funny smell when I try smoking it, but I'm pretty sure they sent you the wrong stuff.

Nope. The jack is very well packaged and secured in place. Kudos to Ford on that.
