Anyone have the Rough Country rubber bed mat?

Can you share more details about the fasteners you used? A link would be great!

The particular ones I used are Hillman variable depth push fasteners part# 881203. They sell them in packs of 2 for .94 cents at Lowes. Any particular brand will work as long as they are longer than 3/4 inch for this particular mat. Those are 1 inch long.

Yep, put the mat pieces in place, drilled through the mat and bed make sure the holes are smaller than the fastener then hammer them in. You can get away with not using them in the bed but I had issues with the mat moving pulling things in and out so I went this route. If you line the tailgate you'll need a minimum of 5 to hold it in place and not have it flex it ways it shouldn't.

The only modification I've made to that setup since that picture was taken is I've cut around where the floor bed anchor hooks get attached since I've added aftermarket hooks to it.

I have a Rough Country Bed mat. I like it. Nothing fancy, but cheaper than others I found.

Here is my TS 4x6 staff mat install. I think it was $60.
Tool used
- Measurement tape
- Good quality carpet/utility knife with new blades
- 48" Steel ruler
- Drill with course sanding drum attachment
YouT gives details on how to cut with utility knife. You just need to patient and be safe when using utility knife. Instead of pressing hard, I opted for light pressure with more reps. I did make a cardboard template to ensure correct shape and then fine tuned it with the sanding drum bit.
Yes, my OCD was in full gear so I did spend time on cutting the circular shapes and than using the drum sanding bit to even out the shape. I feel happy with the results.
I will say that this mat is heavy, I don't think it need to be anchored down at all. The smell went away after a couple of days. I kept the flat surface on the top (round nubby things on the bottom). There are ventilation channels on the bed and the round nubby thing will provide extra ventilation.

I have the RC bed mat, great fit, doesn’t slide around, and stuff stays put on it. Good value=dollar.

One of the first things I got was the rough county bed mat, doesn't slide around, I've had tons of wood and rocks on it and it holds up.

I have the TC bed mat & the SIBL. Fit is perfect, mat is thick, does exactly what I needed it for. Highly recommended.
