So over a year ago for made an update to the turn signal warning system when a bulb goes bad, and it resulted in hyper flash for the @LASFIT LED turn signals that I'd bought (rear only). I have the amber/white changing signals in front, no issues there. Something about the code update changed the resistance load and rear turn signal bulbs - which did work fine previously now hyper flashed.

So I've just been dealing with it for the last year, but am wondering if @LASFIT ever came out with an updated bulb to correct for the load issue that won't hyper flash? Sure would be nice to get rid of the crazy & inconsistent clicking.

Anyone know of any updates? Hesitant to buy another pair in case they haven't made any update, and I would have though @LASFIT would have reached out and let people know when they'd fixed the issue -and warrantied the faulty ones that were no longer working correctly.

I have a 23 XLT Hybrid and I to suffered from hyperflash. About 3 months ago they had me test a new bulb they developed to try and fix the Maverick issue. I am happy to say it worked for me with no hyperflash whatsoever and is still working as of today. I think the updated bulb is a fix!

I had the original that hyperflashed and Lasfit replaced those with their new version about a year ago. The new version worked well for a while and then started to hyperflash sometimes. I could live with the hyperflash but I started getting people honking at me or pulling up alongside telling me my turn signals were not working or, more importantly, my brake lights were not working (any of you owners that have been rear ended have LASFIT brake lights at the time?).
When I wrote to Lasfit they told me I was out of warranty but that I was more than welcome to buy new lights when they fixed the problem. Do not know anything about a fix but I do not think I would spend money on Lasfit when they originally sold a defective product and did nothing. They should have refunded the price for those bulbs in my opinion.
I just went back to the original bulbs that came with the truck in the rear. Still have front and third brake light from Lasfit as they seem to be okay.

I gave up on Lastfit, i got their backup bulbs and the clear bulbs for the cab lights above rear window, lasted around 6 months. I decided to go with Diode Dynamics, been extremely pleased ever since (2 1/2 years now), zero issues, quality products, great company.

I recently bought the “new improved” rear tail light bulbs from Lasfit after I received an email that they had fixed the issue. I received the bulbs and installed them. At first there was no issue, but shortly after I started having the hyper flash issue. I contacted them and they told me that the hyper flash will happen when the bulbs get hot. So about 95% or more of the time I’m driving, I get the hyper flash issue. I’ve removed the bulbs and received a refund from Lasfit.

I did get some LED BULBS CROM Amazon that have a fan built into the assembly and has installed one in each tail light bulbs I’ve been driving around for a couple of weeks with these and have not had any hyper flashing issues so far. I plan to purchase another set to replace the other two tail lights if these continue to work without any issues. Only problem I’ve had is that you can hear the fans when the truck is running off electric and not the ICE. It is a faint hum heard in the rear from the tail lights. The fans go off when the truck is off and the LEDs are no longer illuminated. Just my experience I’ve had.

Those Amazon bulbs are the answer, as far as I am concerned. I have been riding around with all 4 installed, for the past 3 weeks - no issues. My truck has had the recall. Paid $100 for 4 bulbs. This seems to be one solution too difficult to solve for LasFit. You guys can do whatever you want.

No hyper flash, no additional required resistors spliced onto the wiring (producing additional heat in an enclosed plastic environment) and no FORSCAN needed to make things work. I haven’t heard the fans kick on that you mentioned. I do know, that the bulbs have not overheated or stop working during the recent weeks of 97F days in Tennessee.

Those Zonbeam branded Amazon bulbs are noticeably brighter than the stock halogen bulbs. Them come on a bit quicker upon brake application too. I am saving the halogen bulbs for an unexpected emergency.
