Just curious if anyone has done any external mods to their Mavericks, such as wider tires, lift kit, etc. Pics would be neat to see if so.

For convenience.
Add a tailgate damper/assist.
Cheap $30+
Simple to install with basic hand tools.
Ford, Amazon, ebay,... all sell them.
Allows one finger opening of the tailgate without having to hold it to keep it from slamming down.
Regardless of how light the tailgate is. It's about convenience. Especially when your hands are full and you don't want to set anything down.

My wife appreciates the convenience, when we're shopping and she can flip open the handle and let the tailgate drop, while I'm following up with the cart.

Oh, here is a find.
Big Rig Chrome Shop has a classic Peterbilt hood ornament.
That would look fantastic on a modded Mav.

No one has put wider/taller/smaller/blacker tires on their Maverick yet. Or stickers, or any sort of "lift" kit. That's why there are no pictures of Mavericks with any of these things.

Hence the reason I asked. I appreciate the REAL responses. I already have the raised tailgate letters, tail gate assist, tail gate lock, wheel locks, and covered top. Was just curious if anyone went up a size in tires (not a 4wd pkg). And yes, I know it affects the MPG.
