As has been discussed over and over, the Kia option is basically out of stock everywhere.

So I found this for the Hyundai Palisade (and as most people know, Hyundai and Kia share parts):

I decided to take it one step further and wire my dashcam in here as well. Since this is a Hyundai and I've had good luck in prior cars with Dongar, I bought their adapter.

Well, it's not even close from an adapter fit, but since I was going to have to splice out the hyundai harness, I decided to splice in the Dongar adapter.

The Hyundai has 4 wires out of the mirror, but only three come from the adapter to the vehicle. I spliced together the two power lines, and soldered them onto the red Dongar cable. The ground line spliced in with the black Dongar cable.

Then, I went black from the harness to black on the overhead lights, and black/white harness to purple on the overheads.

Took about 15 min, and works fantastic. Much easier than trying to find a pick and pull or anything else. The dongar was the most expensive part, but since I had it already couldn't return it....

Total cost for adapter and mirror was about $50.

Good to know, thanks. Did it come with the harness and I presume it fits the mounting bracket on the windshield?

It came with the wiring, that I cut down and spliced in. It fits the mounting bracket perfectly.

Basically it came with this:

Fantastic, thanks again. Does it come with something to tell which wires are hot and which are ground?

This is the same mirror I just got and installed today before seeing this thread. Took a while to find it with all the threads about the cheap Kia one. I ended up using a micro2 fuse tap and wired it into fuse #3 and is works great. The mirror harness has 3 wires coming out of it, one with a ring terminal on it which is ground and the two hot wires which I just wound together and put into the tap for fuse 3. Once you run the wire down behind the airbag in the a-pillar open up the glove box all the way by disconnecting the top so it swings all the way down to the floor, this gives you a ton of access to be able to get the wires where you want them.
