What wireless system do you use?
Peivi. I researched for a wireless solution on Amazon. This was one of the best reviewed and cheapest solutions!

I use the "AAWireless Two - Android Auto Wireless Adapter" on my 2024 Lariat Hybrid to forego the need of USB cords. I have used this adapter for 6 months with no problems. Purchased from Amazon.

Just echoing what others have said about the USB cable being hyper-sensitive in this car. Needs to be a quality one like Anker or such, and I would suggest doing C to C.

Using a wireless adapter is definitely a better solution long term. I would just get a small one like this. Only issue I have had with the wireless adapter is that you can't have that plugged in (connected to phone), and then plug in for charging / wired Android Auto without them conflicting and locking up the data link, at least on my unit. I've actually been meaning to get a no-data cable for charge only to just use the wireless adapter all the time since it's been 100% reliable.

I think some of the Maverick has a USB connection. I've tried 5 different cables and same problem. Hit a bump or going into a turn , it goes in and out. Good luck with your problem

I found that my phone charges better w/ the USB-C port. It charges okay w/ the wireless as well, but of course my year requires USB for Android Auto

That's why you use a wireless USB connection!

Around town, I'm okay w/o Android Auto, and I can still use Bluetooth for some things w/ the phone. On the occasional long trip, then I plug in and succumb to Android Auto. I'm not a daily driver, so a wireless USB isn't really necessary for me.

A couple weeks before my cable definitely went bad, I noticed mine was only doing "slow charge" in the USB-C port. The cable I had also had a little fitting to adapt it to the power point. When I put it there, it would charge quickly. That still doesn't really make sense, but anyway, my cable definitely crapped out.

The Motorola MA1 has worked flawlessly for us.
Yeah see... I just tried that wireless adaptor (for Android Auto) on my XLT hybrid, and it didn't work at all. Must've tried pairing it 15 times or more; nothin'.
