So I was poking around in the settings and found a thing for ambient lighting. I have an XLT no lux pack and IIRC ambient lighting is only on lariats? Since it's an FX4 it has the lariat productivity screen and I wonder if it incudes the same control module or something.

Long story short does anyone know where the actual lights are located and where the wires go? Obviously if I can find the connector I can add some lights. Anyone know?

Go to about 5:15 and it shows how to turn on the ambient lighting

Non-Lariat ambient lighting consists of an ice blue LED lamp that illuminates (mostly) the center console tray area as well as the lit halos surrounding the USB ports..

It should be fairly straight forward to build a harness for the XLT that will power all of the other required led modules. The bones are there already...(BCM wiring ground, LIN data, and CBX-07 control mod)module.

I'm actually adding more oem led modules in my Lariat as I did in my 2021 single cab F150.

Ok thanks guys. I was trying it in daylight and couldnt see any light coming on. Thought it might have been some mistake.
