BIGGEST impression after a week of ownership is the freaking air conditioning ROCKS. I was afraid rear passengers would be left wanting with no rear ac vents but it blows so strong that when in the back, I can even feel airflow from the side vents.

I've been happy with it. Only people ever really in our back seat is kids who will complain either way and visiting friends or family who are just happy to be in Hawaii weather. But we do stay nice and cool in there. Though it is our first vehicle with AC not much to compare too lol.

Yes, the Mav A/C is very impressive. So much more effective than Acura or Lexi vehicles I have owned.

In North Texas we’ve had a hot summer with weeks upon weeks of 105+ degrees days. Our Mavericks have consistently kept us cool during the hottest days. One recent experience was when the ambient temperature was 109, and the Maverick temperature gauge said 113 but we were able to stay cool and comfortable without using the “Max AC” setting. I’m impressed…

Welcome to Ford. You can say a lot of things about them but I have round they lap everyone in terms of A/C performance.

107 here in SE Louisiana yesterday, you'd never know it sitting in the truck. That's 42 to you non-freedom-unit folks.

When you think about it, the cab is the only thing that needs cool air. We are not cooling the back of an suv or in my old case, a Honda Element. That thing would take forever to get cold and it seemed longer to get it warm.

Guess I'll be that guy. Not very impressed with the AC personally. For me it takes too long to cool down, and the blower increments aren't that great. It feels like I either have not enough or too much. The most annoying this though are the vent locations and open/close and adjustment toggles. I can't get a good setting to where it blows near me but not directly at me. I either feel nothing or get a direct hit at my face. When I try to turn the vent so its just to me left or right, it instead closes the vent or reduces it so almost nothing comes out. Terrible design.

Very much a fan(no pun intended). I did put a 70% ceramic film on the windshield as well as 20% ceramic film on the front windows - both are simply fantastic at keeping heat out of the vehicle. Also think the vertical/small rear truck window does not allow a lot of direct sunlight in where a sedan or more aero vehicle has more windshield and rear window to heat up.

Combined with my Contractor White color....

I leave it on auto between 72-73 degrees, non-max AC, and it cools quickly, quietly, and will even use ASS with AC running.

Just wait until it turns a frigid 50* in Florida in the Winter (LOL) and you try the seat warmer and heated steering wheel... Hot in 20 seconds.....

I feel the same too. My 95 F-250 gets so cold I have to turn it down. My Mav is great too. I like to have it blow directly on me but can't keep it there for long.

Interestingly, there is an unofficial recall on the MY23 F-150. The A/C is so powerful that if you put it on air circulation mode, it'll end up freezing the lines. The current temp fix is to leave that setting off until Ford introduces a software update to tone it down.

If you look under the front seats from the back you will see vents that bring HVAC to the rear passengers. I haven't been bothered to check how much air each setting brings back there though. I only have had dogs in the back.
