Folks, @fordvideoguy just posted a video with some clarifications regarding today's Ford memo. The memo says only 12/12 production week orders will be cancelled, but he checked with the Maverick team and confirmed that ALL MY22 Mavericks with a December build week are being cancelled.

So, if you have a VIN and a build week of 12/5, 12/12 or 12/19, your order will be cancelled and Ford will re-enter your order as a MY23 and give you top priority to get a new build date ASAP.

Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Only Hybrids affected by any of this, right?

I just got off the phone with Ford Marketing. My 10/7/21 order for an XLT Hybrid was bumped from 10/17 to 11/28. So I assume I’m in the clear. -so far.

Agent says she’s seeing MY 22 projected build dates being pushed well into December for all constrained models… Mavs, Lightnings, eMustangs

According to all I have seen, yes you should be good. The cutoff begins at the build week of 12/5.

Yes, only hybrids. I don't think Ford pushed any Ecoboost build dates into December.
I haven't seen any EB's pushed to December either... However they do seem to be getting pushed further into Mid to late November.

As Tim @fordvideoguy explained on his live stream last night, the remainder of the MY2022 production schedule is now pretty well set. With this latest move regarding the cancellation of the December hybrid builds, that's because Ford figured out how many parts it had available, what it could build, what it couldn't, etc. by the end of the model year.

What Tim said was that although there was a lot of juggling around in recent weeks, there shouldn't be much more movement for remaining 2022s, because Ford has it all pretty well lined out from here on out to the final week of the model year.

Personally, Ford has earned exactly ZERO credibility with me through this whole process, but I'm just gonna keep hoping my truck is built within the next month...
