The fender cutout and plastic insert just adds cost, wish they had left the whole fender solid sheet metal. Putting a vent there will do little more than scream "accessory junkie". ;-)

Hey…I’m a minimally functional accessory junkie. Accessories must be minimally functional!

Although some of my fellow accessory junkies think I’m being snooty - especially the fake hood scoop guys.

$215 with tax & shipping IS a lot for custom molded plastic and 3M automotive tape. Maybe $20 worth of materials? But there are plenty of folks taking a cut as it travels to me the final consumer.

And I’m retired living like a hermit (with 3 cats). So fiddling with my new Lobo gives me a break from playing RDR2 & EXP33:) Worked hard for 40 years…you’ll be there someday.

Functionality of the vents = very questionable. There will be a few small holes after the OEM vent is removed. The turbo & exhaust manifold are close by but still. I’ll post some pics of ventless Lobo:)

Thanks for your thoughts though!

I can't tell if you're being condescending or just have a smug way of writing.
But to address your concerns, I'm not far off from retirement and not afraid of spending money. I just chose to spend mine on things that make a noticeable difference in my life, like a new video card or better tires.

I apologize for sounding smug or condescending - was not my intent.

But look, I respect your choice to spend money on things that make a noticeable difference in your life and hope you would respect the choices I make that make a noticeable difference in mine.

We can disagree on the usefulness of video cards or side vents - but we can both agree on tires. Although I won’t push it on specific tire picks;)
