Ahh I see that it is made of wood. The paint made me think it was a piece of aluminum. I was thinking if it went out above and below the cargo rail it would be solid enough to keep it near vertical. Like a 3 pronged guide instead of the single one in this picture. Really as I think about it if you just made that thicker/wider (maybe 3 layers thick)just like you have it, it wouldn't be able to tilt off the vertical.

That is pretty slick! I wonder if you could put some kind of small roller(s) in the grooves on the bed floor instaead of the L brackets?

Material used is 1/2 plywood and 1x3 wood on the top. 3/4 plywood would be better, but I did not have piece big enough. Top piece is painted with aluminum spray and clear coated, divider itself pained with bedliner spay. L-brackets on the bottom are not drilled - they just helping divider to stay vertically.

Absolutely. But I would use 3/4 plywood instead of 1/2. Divider is so convenient and I still have all the mounting points.

This is a great concept with the spring loaded locking pins! Gives me ideas to try with some aluminum rail to match the factory cargo management and do a quick spray-in coating for the board to go with the bed.
