I have an XLT with a the standard radio (which has crappy sound), and i'd like to add Sirius to it. The only way I know how to do it is to stream it from my phone. I have read that one can buy a Sirius car kit? Does anyone have any input or recommendations on what to buy ?

Thanks,

Hey. I have the same truck. I added this. People here will tell you to just stream from your SiriusXM app. In my case, that wasn't possible due to my rural location and lack of cell infrastructure. Regardless, this works well. I'll attach a pic. It basically works as a USB input for the stock radio. You can read more about my install here.

I installed the Roady BT, it uses Bluetooth connection. It may be hard to see, behind the Roady BT radio I 3D printed a Cubby mount. Check out Sam's video Re how he installed the same radio:

Yeah I like what streetglide has posted, a good use of the hole next to the factory radio too It seems. (Lowrider ST. Myself) I was going to mention going to the Sirius XM website and they should still list a few of these separate add-on units. I was disappointed when I got my tremor XLT and saw that it wasn't simply getting it turned on. Ended up trading for Lariat because of that in a few other reasons, including these thin windshield.
