Added Tailgate letters and Tailgate Applique

I finally decided on how to spend my Ford Reward Points. As many have done, I added the Tailgate Letters. I also added the Tailgate Applique, which I have not seen on a Maverick in my local area. I really like it!

I really like the look of the added letters, But beware of cheap ones that are 3D printed as I bought some and they curled on the edges from the sun after a few weeks. I found these (see below) after reading up on reviews from prior buyers. I like the rounded edges and after four months ... no curling at all.

I have not seen that Tailgate Applique in my area either and I wondered what it looked like with the different colors. Looks pretty sharp with that red!

Contrast looks great on your Maverick. I have Alto Blue, so I had to go with silver lettering. I didn't see any reason to put a black tailgate applique on an already dark color.

Same. I have an Alto Blue as well, and when properly washed, it looks black. I would have liked to add that tailgate applique as well, but it'll just blend into the body

Re: 3D printed letters, If you use petg or anything other than PLA and make the letters ~ 1/8 in the letters will not curl. Mine have been on thru 4 seasons and look great!

I ordered from the same Etsy site, but did not get the .03 in raised. Mine are considered raised, but a bit more flush with the rest of the tailgate surface - just highlighting the name a bit on my carbonized gray.

While I really like the letters I got, they are indeed gorgeous. In retrospect, I should have gotten plastic raised letter to better match the tailgate applique.
Just FYI, I purchased, from the Ford website, the "Maverick 2022-2026 Tailgate Lettering in Black Platinum Stainless Steel by Putco®" for sure, excellent quality. I would recommend if only putting letters on your Mav.
