Today I picked up some scrap vinyl wrap from one of my friends and I added some flavor to my fender badge. A little goes a long way, I don’t know why ford didn’t do this from the factory since the XLT and lariat has it

this takes little to almost no skill. I literally just took a straight razor blade and cut it to the shape

Trim differentiation.

Ford has an established pattern of making their base trucks use flat black plastic. Some offer appearance packages, but that wasn't an option on the Maverick XL.

Remember, they don't want the average person to like the flat black plastic trim look. They want to push people to upgrade to the more expensive trim levels.

It's the same reason that the Maverick XL doesn't even have basic cruise control unless we hack it in or add it via the aftermarket.

Funny that I went the opposite and blacked out my chrome lariat badging.
