My Mustang 2+2 had a Maverick gas tank put in. Grew up in the country with 6 brothers and an old barn that was a work shop. Always had cars galore around the place and it wasn’t uncommon for the guys to come home and drop an engine to work on it and have the car running the next day. And they weren’t beyond borrowing, including the engine, from my car while I was stationed overseas. Told them I’d better have a put back together car when I got home and that is how I ended up with the gas tank.

All they did while I was gone was empty out my toolbox. You got lucky.

I owned a 73 Maverick 4 door but the only Ford script I had was from a different ford but stuck it on last year using really good double sided tape.
