Also, interestingly, the AUTO HOLD brake also triggers the brake lights. I use the AUTO HOLD a lot. Especially at drive thrus, instead of standing on the brake pedal. When you let off the brake pedal in AUTO HOLD, the taillights stay illuminated until you hit the throttle and start going again.

So when you hit the gas, does the AUTO HOLD release or do you have to toggle it off? As you can tell, I don't have a truck yet

If enabled, it engages as soon as you come to a complete stop. There will be an indicator on the instrument cluster. As soon as you apply the gas again, it disengages basically seamlessly, until the next stop.

Slightly off topic, but auto hold is awesome and a feature I never knew I'd love so much until I got my maverick. I leave it on 24/7

I started toggling on and off, because I didn't like it at first except for very specific instances like Drive Thrus. Now that I am used to it, I love it and now just keep it engaged. I live in an area with hills and mountains, so the AUTO HOLD is pretty functional. I drove my daughter's car the other day, and I really missed it.

The auto hold is something EV's have been doing for years. So this helps people get used it it.
