Has anyone done a 2x4 stock rack for their Maverick? As a child, in my little Midwest farm town, I could tell the farm trucks from the "city" trucks because the farm trucks always had a 2x4 stock rack. Useful for hauling a pig to market or picking up a calf. Also kept hay bales from falling off. You never see them anymore, since the family farm has disappeared, and all pickups are now city trucks.
Here are a couple of close examples of what I'm talking about.
Neither are exactly the style I mean, but they are the general idea. Trucks back then had holes in the side panels so you could slide a 2x4 into them and easily remove the rack if you wanted. Look at some 50s and 60s trucks and you will see the holes.
