If you gave a PIN number when you ordered, then should be no problem.
I ordered my Maverick 6/23/2021, did not receive it until 5/10/2022, but my dealer did not ask for a new PIN.
A/Z plan saved me $1500...you decide whether or not worth it.
I had a Z-plan PIN # generated on 7/5/2022, the certificate shows that it's good for 1 year, until 7/5/2023. Look like you were 5-6 weeks under the 1-year mark.

Thanks Bob. He passed away about 15 years ago. Guess we're screwed. I believe he worked at an assembly plant.... oops, looks like your name is Terry. I saw the Bobinmi... My brain needs a kick start today
I was a third generation Ford worker. Pretty much any friendly Ford worker will get you a PIN, as long as you are going to actually use it. I bought a new truck when I was working for Ford in 02, the dealer was more than happy to sell on A plan - and I was 2 hours away from the nearest Ford plant (they had the truck I wanted). Dealers do just fine on A plan, Ford pays the dealers for taking A plan. Now, I'm sure it isn't as much money as selling at 10k over MSRP...... but those are people buying off of the lot.

so bare with me guys. Can anyone who is not a Ford employee, related to a Ford employee, in other words just normal "Joe" off the street, get in under any of these plans? Sorry if this has been answered or posted elsewhere, working in between reading these.

Closest would be X-plan which you can get through organizations like joining the Mustang Club of America, Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), or some veteran's orgs. It's less of a discount though; a little above invoice.

Alternatively one of the dealers selling 3% below invoice is probably close to A/Z-plan price.

I applaud your decision to trust @fordvideoguy and his very capable sales team with your 2023 XL. I'll also caution you by saying Ford made the decision to stop accepting X plan PIN's (shareholders only) for customers who take delivery after 12-31-2022.
If you're a veteran, you could sign up for membership with Veterans Advantage and get the X plan through them. 90 day membership required before delivery of vehicle.

No.

Shareholders are no longer eligible after the phaseout period.

All other eligible organizations are not impacted by that.

Thank you for the 4-1-1. I'm going to look into the VetRewards Exclusives to see if it's worth the $60 per anum for the long run. The current difference in pricing is only $210 for an XLT.

I just took delivery of my Maverick a week ago, ordered/purchased under the Z-Plan. My father worked at Chgo Stamping for 30 years. He died in 2010, but the Z-Plan was still available to me through his surviving spouse, my mom.
Names, SSN's, relationship to Retiree info were all required to obtain the PIN. But overall it was a pretty easy process, handled in about 10-mins over the phone.
As others have reported here, it saved me a little over a grand.
And it's true that dealers aren't obligated to participate, so make sure ahead.

P.S. - Absolutely love the Mav!

The X plan also limits the document fees to $100 which saved us $399 in that category alone.
