I just looked into a different brand of vehicle that I was interested in, due to the incredible mess that Ford has made of this. DIdn't want to to this but at the same time, I don't want to be waiting on a new vehicle into 2024. I was told by that dealer that they were charging a $2500 "market...
I totally agree...Ford has screwed up this situation and screwed their customers over this situation. I have bought Ford in the past and been happy but at this point like I posted previously, unless I find a Maverick sitting somewhere in PA or close, I am done, possibly forever.
Called my salesman at Simmons Rockwell in Halstead, PA. Didn't know about the change, didn't know about the new colors, etc. Ford has created a real mess and NO communication. In the meantime us peons who don't have the ability to pay cash for these trucks are watching the interest rates...
so bare with me guys. Can anyone who is not a Ford employee, related to a Ford employee, in other words just normal "Joe" off the street, get in under any of these plans? Sorry if this has been answered or posted elsewhere, working in between reading these.
This might have been asked but I couldn't see it. If I missed it I apologize. When generally do car manuf. come out with the new yr. pricing and options? Just curious, I have an order waiting to go in for a Maverick using options/pricing for MY22 and wondered when we might see the "new stuff"...
I keep reading about dealers jacking up the price, reneging on contracts, etc. I am going to place an order thru Simmons Rockwell in NY as soon as it opens up, being told in Aug. I have bought 3 vehicles thru them and they have treated me right thus far. But not sure how this will go, as...
I am planning on ordering a Maverick as soon as I can later this year. I was slow out of the gate and missed my opportunity this year. Orig. I was told that they would start accepting orders in August 2022 for a 2023 veh. Now my dealer is saying that they may not be accepting orders at that...
Getting ready to place my order for a Mav. XLT today, being told it will be 2023 before delivery. Willing to wait but never seen it like this. Not only vehicles but just stores; empty shelves, backorders, low manpower, etc. SMH
Looking at a Maverick XL and have a friend who is an engineer at Ford. He mentioned X pricing, which I have requested thru a dealer. He hasn't gotten back to me yet but wondering if anyone has actually used this pricing and was it truly cheaper? Bare with me, first of many questions I am sure.
