I took a look at it a little more in the slicer and saw similar results. I don't think I'm going to attempt this any time soon. It'd take a lot of fiddlin' to get right and either some proper support medium like that water-soluble stuff, or cutting up the model into multiple parts to minimize supports.

I'll keep this in the backlog and maybe attempt it if I'm bored.

Ouch. I'm guessing the problem is wall thickness. If I get time I may have to mess around with it and try it in resin. What scale were you trying to print at?
I printed it at 100% (~150mm length). I resized but the sliced model looked just as bad at any scale.

Maybe these are the reasons the seller was offering it for free.

I wanted to extract the fender badges but it seems like some of the geometry is messed up on both sides. The creator mayhave tried to do a repair model.

It may be better to buy a model for $60 than spending time to repair. You could wrap the model to try a create a solid and print it though.

I scanned my truck in makerworld and I thought it was bad.

Ding Ding, found the real reason.
Whoever made or modified this file did a bad job, probably broke some geometry or short cutted on something, then in bad faith put it up for unsuspecting people to use.
