On a recent 4,000 mile trip the high beam stalk began a curious issue. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this, and yes I did search for this issue before posting this so if you know of a link, send it along. Here is the issue.

I like the new technology of just pressing the turn signal stalk to go to high beam, but on this trip the truck would not respond on the first full press. Hit it a second time and the high beams would come on consistently. Yes, I did make sure it was a full stop press. Took it in to show the dealer today and of course, problem not duplicated at this time. Worked perfectly. Anyone else seen this?

You may have been doing the presses that took you into and out of Auto highbeam.

Was a pull and hold able to keep them on - good test when you see it happening again.

OVERRIDING AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM CONTROL

Push the lever away from you to switch the high beams on.
Push the lever away from you again to switch the high beams off.
Push the lever away from you for a third time to switch automatic high beam control back on.

USING THE HIGH BEAM HEADLAMPS

Push the lever away from you to switch the high beams on.
Push the lever forward again or pull the lever toward you to switch the high beams off.
Slightly pull the lever toward you and release it to flash the headlamps.
Note: Continuous activation only with headlamps on.

My 2024 if I push the stalk towards the dash it goes to hi beam, pull towards me goes to low beam. Double push towards dash disables auto hi beam.

Were You able to demonstrate it at the dealership or was it just a service tech trying to replicate it?
You wouldn't have be able to mimic any of the circumstances using Auto high beam, with the service technician. Unless you're traveling +25 mph at night.

Interesting, dealer said that that is not my issue but good to know. By The Way people, I do read the owners manual ...:angel:when I have to...or want to go to sleep. 😴

I had the service manager standing beside me and advised him how to proceed with steps to duplicate the issue. AI in the vehicle detected that we were in the service bay and ordered all electronics to be on their best behavior. :ROFLMAO:

You should have pulled fuse 11 before going in for service. 😂
