85 days!!! 2023 Hybrid XLT

Ordered on Sept 16, 2023. Hybrid XLT in Oxford White, with drop in bed liner and all-weather mats (no carpet). Scheduled for week of Dec 5, 2023. Received Vin # early on. Production changed yesterday to Dec 9 and today tracking says Truck was built yesterday, Dec 9, 2023! Waiting for shipment details. No emails from Ford? Looks like maybe a Christmas present. ???
Already bought a roll-up tonneau cover (Amazon), Black raised ABS Lettering for Tailgate (Aliexpress under $6) and a screen protector for 8" display. Will use FordPassConnect for mudflaps and hood bug deflector.

Congrats! But the shipping could take a while. My '22 was built in September '22 and I took delivery November 2nd. But it wasn't the truck I ordered. This was a refused '22 someone else ordered. My '23 hasn't even been scheduled for production and it's an XLT Eco AWD with nothing on it except BAP. So I keep putting miles on this one until it gets here. Hoping to get out of it if/when it arrives.

Mine was also marked as "built" Dec 8th, got shipping notification at 3:00 AM on the 10th.

I'm in Southern Utah, delivery window is 12/26 to 1/1.

Stopped at dealer Saturday to ask about my order. I was told 16 orders for 23 were placed and 42 2022 Maverick were delivered. Bodes well for allocation. They predicted my truck would arrive by July. They also cautioned they had examples of ordered vehicles that were stubborn to deliver.

The one I purchased was built 06/28/2022, and I took delivery on 12/07/2022. It was held up for the side-curtain airbag recall for several months – long enough that the original person who ordered it gave up and moved on...

The dealership finally got the parts in, and completed the recall around 5:30 PM on 12/6. My salesman just happened to be standing with the sales manager when the service guys told him it was complete. He called to tell me about it while he was moving it from the service bay to the sales lot.

A couple of minutes later (only because he had to go inside to write it all down), he had my deposit (given via CC over the phone), and we had an appointment for first thing the following morning for me to come in and pick it up. They hadn't even prepped it for sale yet - it still had the plastic on the seats!

Right after he finished taking my CC info and notifying the Sales Manager that I bought the truck, some lady came in... She just happened to be driving by, and saw the Maverick, and wanted to buy it – on the spot. Even had her checkbook out! Luckily, Mac Haik Ford (Georgetown, TX) is an honest dealer, and told her it was unavailable. They had a couple of others (XLT and XL), but she wanted a Lariat. Oh well...

Glad that someone backed out for you. Mine is just sitting in the railyard about 2 hours west of me waiting to be loaded on a car carrier and brought to the dealership. It has only been sitting there for over a month now. You don't want to rush these things. With the way this is going I'm sure someone will get their 2023 before I get my 2022.

I am going through this experience currently. Took over an abandoned order, been waiting for a month so far on these airbag bolts... It's one thing to have a factory order, it's another to have the car sitting on the dealer lot waiting for bolts before I can finally take delivery lol.

Glad to hear yours got fixed recently, gives me hope. (Although I'm in Canada)

As someone that has been waiting for his XLT Hybrid for almost 14 months now and am currently looking at a 16 month wait if my scheduled build week doesn't get pushed back, f#$& you... well I guess f#$& Ford.

Lol seriously though, congrats on your lucky lottery ticket and be careful out in the world, I think you just used up at least a couple years worth of good luck
